The name Hesa comes from the Balinese word for intention. Every detail is intentional — the treatment order, pool temperatures, products, and care. Nothing is arbitrary.
About the founders
At the heart of Hesa are Dewa and Ayu — a husband-and-wife team who turned years of experience and a shared dream into a space built on genuine care.
Dewa has over 25 years in hospitality. He started in hotels, then moved into villa management and private tours across Bali. Warm and personable, he loves meeting people and sharing Balinese culture. At Hesa, he runs all operations — logistics, facilities, and systems — so everything works behind the scenes.
Ayu has 17 years in Bali's spa industry. She started as a host and grew into the leader who manages Hesa's entire team. Known for her warmth and attention to detail, she personally trained every team member — setting a high standard for service and care.
Together, they built more than a spa. They brought a long-held vision to life — a place where every detail is thoughtful and every guest feels cared for.
