Most spas offer a single 60-minute "couples massage." At Hesa, every treatment is available for couples. You go through the same sequence with two therapists working in sync.
The plunge pools and steam room are shared spaces. Soak, recover, talk — or just be still together in warm water surrounded by greenery.

Two therapists follow the same sequence at the same pace. You're never waiting for each other. The experience unfolds together, not in turns.
Shared pools & steam room
The pools and steam room are part of the experience, not a waiting area. Most couples say the contrast therapy cycles are their favourite part.
No couples surcharge
Prices are per person, same as solo bookings. No premium for couples. You pay for two treatments — nothing extra.
Choose the same or different
You don't have to book the same treatment. One does Korean Zen, the other does Hammam Adventure — as long as the duration matches, therapists can sync.
Private enough
Treatment rooms are private. The pools are spacious yet intimate — we manage guest flow so you won't feel crowded. Usually just 1–2 other guests around. For the quietest sessions, book at 09:00 or 19:00.
Complimentary refreshments
Full treatment guests get a fruit platter. Basic guests get mint tea and cookies. A nice way to end the day together.

Korean Zen
Steam, Korean scrub, bubble massage, hair wash, avocado wrap, facial, and Balinese massage. Three hours. Skin you'll both want to touch.
Hammam Adventure
Facilities, scrub, bubble massage, hair wash, reflexology, Balinese massage, facial. The most complete treatment at Hesa — better shared.
Balinese Bliss
Bali's own tradition for two. Boreh spice scrub, bubble massage, Balinese massage, and a closing facial. Ancient ingredients, centuries of healing.
90 minutes. Still for two.
Short on time? Every basic treatment is also for couples. Each is 90 minutes with 30 minutes of facilities access included.
Korean Scrub
Wet · 90 minThe standalone Korean body scrub. Removes weeks of dead skin in 30 minutes. Both of you will leave with noticeably different skin.
Balinese Massage
Dry · 90 minThe island's signature massage for two, in sync. Rhythmic strokes and acupressure that release deep tension. A proper hour of massage each.
Aromatherapy Massage
Dry · 90 minGentler, scent-led, deeply calming. The most relaxing 90 minutes you can spend together in Ubud.
Boreh

The part most couples remember.
Every couples visit includes the plunge pools and steam room. Most couples say this — not the massage — is what they talk about most.
Steam room together. 42–46°C with views over the pools. A quiet 10–15 minutes to slow down before the session.
Hot pool. 39–41°C, surrounded by greenery. The largest hot plunge pool in Ubud. Plenty of room to soak side by side.
Cold plunge challenge. Most couples make it a shared dare. A sandglass is provided. 30 seconds in 7–10°C water is harder — and more rewarding — than it sounds.
Included in every treatment. 30 minutes of facilities access comes with every booking. For multiple contrast therapy rounds, book standalone access (2 hours).

Welcome & sarongs
You're greeted and given sarongs. Your therapists introduce themselves and walk you through the session. Welcome drinks included.
Steam room — 10–15 min
Together in the steam room. Warm up, open up, slow down. Most couples say this is when the pace of the day shifts.
Hot & cold plunge pools — 30 min
Hot pool first (10–15 min), then the cold plunge. Most couples do 2–3 rounds. The cold plunge reaction is universal — and reliably one of the best moments of the day.
Scrub & body treatment — 30–45 min
Side by side on adjacent tables. Two therapists, same pace. Korean scrub, Boreh paste, or bubble massage depending on your treatment.
Massage & facial — 60–75 min
The long part. A full 60-minute Balinese massage each, then a 25-minute natural facial. The room is warm and dim. Nothing to do but receive it.
Refreshments
Fruit platter for full treatment guests. Mint tea and cookies. Time to sit together before heading back out. Most couples don't rush to leave.
Couples questions, answered.
Do we have to book the same treatment?
No. Pick different treatments as long as the durations match. One does Korean Zen, the other does Hammam Adventure — both are 3 hours. Mention your choices when booking.
Is it really simultaneous — are we in the same room?
Treatment rooms are adjacent and the experience is synced. You start and finish together, move at the same pace, and share pool and steam time. The experience is completely shared.
Is there a special "couples massage" option?
No single "couples massage" — because every treatment is available for couples. Choose anything from the full menu and do it together.
Is there an extra charge for booking as a couple?
No. Pricing is per person — you pay for two individual treatments at the standard per-person rate. No couples surcharge, no premium package pricing.
Do we need to bring anything?
Just yourselves. We provide sarongs, towels, toiletries, hair dryers, and plastic bags for wet swimwear. Bring a swimsuit if you plan to use the pools — which you will.
Is it appropriate for a special occasion?
Absolutely. Anniversaries, honeymoons, birthdays, or just because. Mention your celebration in the booking notes and we'll do what we can.
Which location is better for couples?
Both are great for couples. Jalan Sandat is quieter with a hidden garden feel. Monkey Forest Road is more central. Can't decide? Select "Pick for me" when booking.
Can we book on the day?
Walk-ins are welcome, but we strongly recommend booking in advance — especially for full treatments, which have a last booking of 5:30 PM. Couples slots in particular fill up quickly. Book online in two minutes →
